According to Herschel Walker, his super powerful and aesthetic physique is the result of push-ups, sit-ups and other bodyweight exercises.
Of course, this is pure nonsense. You need a lot more than just push-ups to build a similar body. I am almost sorry to inform you that no amount of push-ups, pull-ups and sit-ups will produce those traps, at least not naturally.
Why do people believe Herschel Walker’s nonsense?
People, for the most part, are very stupid.
Humans a.k.a. humanoids are programmable creatures that can be conditioned to believe almost anything. This allows the leaders to get away with their plan. The architects simply exploit the fact that humans can be conditioned to accept almost anything because we are deeply separated from our original nature. We’ve forgotten who we are.
If you keep that in mind, it becomes apparent why some people believe Herschel Walker’s disinformation suggesting that he has built his massive body simply by doing push-ups and running.
Herschel Walker was a professional athlete. He was a pro football player for many years. Unfortunately, most if not all pros in that sport have used anabolic steroids.
The documentary Bigger, Faster, Stronger, which examines the usage of anabolic steroids in America, revealed that even some teenage high school football players are on steroids.
Do you really think that a game that is so competitive will somehow remain steroid free? Come on. There are millions to be made. Besides, even Lance Armstrong had to admit that he was not a drug-free athlete. What do you think the other pro players are using? Ferry dust?
What about genetics?
Herschel Walker has great genetics. Nobody denies that fact. However, even with the great genetics that he has, there is no way to outplay nature. According to the information available online, Herschel Walker’s diet consists of one meal a day based on bread and veggies.
To summarize: Mr.Herschel Walker was 6’1″/225lbs with muscles on top of muscles. He built his massive physique by eating one meal a day and performing a routine made of push-ups, sit-ups and running.
Do you even realize how ridiculous the statement above is? It’s like saying that you can get as rich as Donald Trump by saving your lunch money.
Herschel Walker’s diet alone reveals that he is trolling everybody. Even if you have the greatest genetics on the planet and take anabolic steroids, you cannot get as big as him on a diet that lacks both – calories and protein.
As sucker is born every minute…
Under this article presenting Herschel Walker’s way of training and eating, someone posted the following comment via Facebook:
As you can see, people are naive enough to justify one illusion with another one. We’ve already exposed the myth about jacked prisoners. Most people should know that it’s just an illusion created by superficial Hollywood movies. In the real world, you can’t get as humongous as Herschel Walker by doing push-ups and eating like a bird.
What’s next? Getting to the size of Ronnie Coleman through visualization?
Yeah, right! Grow up, kiddo!
Who are you to judge Herschel Walker? How do you what he does?
Cavemen had muscles but they didn’t get to eat a ton because they had to kill there prey. He is basically forcing his muscles to grow with all the push-ups, sit-ups and running.
Are you a caveman?
This guy doesn’t know shit. Do 3000 push-ups, pull ups, upside down pushups (which do build bigger traps) then tell me this nonsense. Most people do 100 push-ups then act like push-ups don’t work. You don’t work hard enough. Now they don’t have buff guys in prison too. That’s a myth. Wow the only followers you probably have are people that stumble upon your moronic articles to have a laugh. You don’t need all these supplements either most people have more then enough protein in their body. Have you ever heard of someone going into the doctor and them saying they have a protein deficiency? It’s ok to to believe the marketing hype but don’t spit this bs to anyone else.
Oh, brother… Can I see a video of your 3k handstand push-ups?
Translation for those who don’t understand the author’s point: Don’t believe Herschel Walker’s propaganda, believe mine instead.
Yeah, I’ll get back to you on that Mr. [cough-cough] Truth Seeker.
U don’t know shit about fitness . consistency is the key .pull-ups 1000 a day for the last 30 years can and will definitely build those traps .sports nutrition now a days is all about artificial fake things that clouds your mind
I can’t believe you idiots are so gullible. This author is right on. Come on girls, bring your evidence. /Crickets/ …Yeah, thought so. Anyone with half a brain can see what he’s saying is truth. There’s nothing to gain by exposing frauds like these fake natty mofos…if anything, it’s always a risk of being trolled and insulted. For the fakers, though, everything is at stake. Money, fame, ego, and in the case of prisoners, your life. Plenty of motivation to juice and I’m not judging one bit, but let’s just be honest. Quit being such little girls and feeling all kinds of ways about shit. It’s just life, pure and simple.
Can you prove to me that he’s taking drugs? Oh that’s right anyone with half a mind should know that a guy who eats one meal a day and does a fuck ton of calisthenics resulting in a super shredded body has to be taking gear right? Lol Its always funny to hear people self project their failures, GG.
Read back your comment and tell the world you don’t see how naive and ignorant that sounds. Can you prove to me he is NOT taking drugs? No, neither of us can prove shit, obviously, so take that out of the equation, and observe the evidence in front of you. Ask any health care professional, people who know way more than we do about the science, and they will tell you its bullshit. Some people just want to believe anything. What do you gain by licking his ass? It makes you look sad and obsequious. Go back to church kneeler
So you can’t prove that he’s taking drugs.. What are you going on about now? He probably does eat only one meal a day “Usually”, I wouldn’t doubt that he changes it up tho, Eating 2 maybe even 3 meals a day some days, And i’d bet my bottom dollar that he also changes up how much quantity of food he eats, He used a very vague statement “Once a day, Usually soup” because he probably does do that or has done that in training but doesn’t do it all the damn time, Look at the photos of him when he was doing mma, He looked pretty skinny compared to other photos.
I personally eat either 1-3 meals a day and i have a ton of muscle, Huge fucking traps, Its just genetics, My test level is pretty high maybe you need to get on hormone replacement?
If you’re asking for joint problems and torn muscles then follow Herschel Walker’s routine and diet. You are so naive to think that doing hundreds of reps paired with tons of running and other stuff accompanied with a diet of bread, soup and salad, eating once a day can make you ripped and strong as him. You are also victim like I once was and I know the feeling of denial when presented with the truth. One day you will see.
Hershal is a Freak athlete for sure but he has mental illness and believes his lies. I can’t believe everything out of his mouth.
I agree. Anyone judging Herschel need to take a step back. Did anyone even ask the question, hey how many calories is in that one meal? Isn’t it possible it’s in between 2000-3000 calories? Absolutely it is. i know I for one have bread and olive oil and that alone can be 1000 calories depending on the amount. I also have a buddy who eats once a day, but that meal is huge and more than makes up for what he missed. Bottom line…No one really knows how many calories are in his one meal which could consist of many bowls of soup, chili or whatever, and how many salads. There are calorie rich salads as well.
That’s nothing, I do like 300,000 sit-ups and 200,000 push-ups each day! Amateur!!! And I only eat three leaves of lettuce and a scoop of jello. I suppose I just have better genetics than you!
He didn’t build his physique eating one meal a day you quack, He only in recent years started eating like this, Do some research before you start spouting nonsense.
Apologies, I mean to type he was a chubby kid who worked out all the time since it was really young, He only started eating like this when he was in highschool, I would say genetics are the cause but if you body adapts to a routine then its really not to hard to keep it going, And for his size? I would have to say he probably increased his capillary density over time due to all the specific training he did. And you have to realize it wasn’t like he was running nonstop marathon, He chopped his workouts into sets so it would kind of be like high set sprints for the upper and lower body.
The only problem i have with this entire routine is if he is eating this way sure his muscles might be able to adapt, Get stronger etc, But happens to all the other body parts such as organs and bones, With this type of routine your body burns off a so many calories that it makes you wonder if these other body parts are getting the proper nutrients, I mean at the least he is definitely lacking in the vitamin department.
You are dumb as fuck for writing this article. It is easy to say someone cant get built on pushups alone because no one does 5000. do even 2000 pushups a day and see if you dont get ripped. All of those pushups will give you a better workout than 30 minutes of weightlifting. Who is to say you can’t put chicken and eggs in your salad to get more protein. rather than say it cant be done, why don’t you try to do 2000 pushups and situps everyday for a month. I’m sure you will be jacked and wont be saying this bs.
I would prefer if you try it for me and post your results.
you’re the one who is poppin shit. lazy ass mother fucker. trying to say what is and what isn’t possible, just because you don’t have the drive to do anything but type shit.
The only “benefits” that you will get from 1000s of push-ups are shoulder pain and imabalances. Also, please explain in what universe push-ups and sit-ups build traps bigger than those of professional Olympic weightlifters?
Why are you so butthurt that not everybody agrees with this POS article that makes claims but backs it with ZERO proof . Pure speculation not backed by a single source. Hope you didn’t think this would pass as real journalism. Did you?
Your the moron making claims. You do it dickhead. People don’t have protein defficiencies. Have you ever heard a doctor say that? You don’t need all these things they market, haven’t you realized people market products to make money. Some moron who hasn’t done probably more then 100 push-ups ever in a day will tell you the impact of doing 3000. You just sound like a jealous hater. Keep hatin ho.
Thank you Nick, someone with some sense. If he did his research he would see that Herschel had been doing the diet since the 80s. Honestly, you should be happy that you don’t have to take in all that protein to build size.
who every wrote this article is a idiot. I am 48 years old and I do 600 pull ups a week with all kinds angles. And 1200 push up and 300 dips a week. I look better now then when I was in the gym wasting time. if your going to write a article this stupid. please have been a decent athlete
Pics? Videos? Oh, wait…
Why does he need to prove shit to you ? He doesn’t. Dumb fuck.
Walker has built up to this workout everyday since he was a teenager. The human body is amazingly adaptive and that hard work and consistency paid off for him. How about you try that instead of worrying about who’s on what or going right to “steroids” whenever someone has a fit body?
You must not know herschel.. his mental focus is on superhuman level. he is a freak show, i believe everything about his lifting routine.
Oh but you know him, right? Best buddies? I’m sure you see what he does 24/7. You’re as ignorant as a Christian
OMG. Do some of you seriously believe Walker looks the way he does from Pushups, Sit-ups, and Running? And eating salad and soup? IS this a joke? How stupid are you.
It should be obvious how he got that body (hint: not just good genetics, pushups, situps, running, soup, and salad) LOL.
I rarely comment on discussions, but when I see some of you defending Walker’s statements, actually believing what he is saying…you are the epitome of stupid.
To the author: Great article exposing the B.S. of Walker’s comments.
You morons doubting Walker’s methods. He doesn’t just do push ups and sit ups but those are daily staples. He also trains on the track, explosive running , box jumps, etc. He talks of bodyweight exercises. This also includes gymnastic exercises. Full bodyweight, rings, horse etc. And yeah gymnasts get ripped and pretty jacked not touching a damn weight. So do your fucking homework before writing this ill informed POS article.
Herschel Walker is a freak of nature, a la No Jackson. Rate specimens. Somebody should save their DNA.
Absolutely, he can get that big naturally. Have you ever seen a guy on roids? Herschel is actually lean, he doesn’t have the oversized roid muscles. By the way, he has looked like that since high school, and still looks that way. Shoe me one single roider or body builder that has looked the same for 35 years.
You have your opinion, that’s great, but it’s not an educated one.
Bunch of autotext typos, sorry.
I totally agree with the author. I am 38 years old and spent 5 years in prison, working out every single day, sometimes twice, and vigorously. There is no way possible that Walker would look like that from pushups, situps, etc. No fucking way!…Author is right…period
Just give this workout/diet information to a licensed nutritionist and see what they say. I did and she said it is total BS. His energy demands far outstrip what he claims to eat.
Jtown and whoever does. It understand what body and training. PLEASE GO AND LOOK AT HERSHEL WHEN HE WAS UGA AS A FRESHMAN. HE HAS THE SAME TRAPS AND FRAME IN 1980….. it genetic period. ANOTHER EXAMPLE LOOK AT MIKE Tyson AT AGE 13. He build like a man. And I am pretty sure mike Tyson did not take steroid at 12 or 13. If someone does not have the muscle structure or genetics. You can work out all day and change your body very little.
HerscheI is truly genetically gifted. He is not off the chart for a natty, but absolutely at the high end. Look at the genetics in his family. Were he to get serious w/ weights he’d easily hit 250-260. He also did a lot more then just sit-ups and push-ups in his formative years. I suggest the writer checkout all the great bar athletes of today, and the long history of calisthenics in athletics, and what it has done for so many.
Can’t believe there are still people who believe in Herschel Walker’s crap. Do his routine and diet plan and all you will get is a fucked up body filled with injuries. Well who am I to tell you this? If you think doing more of something makes you stronger, then feel free to do it, but don’t tell me I didn’t warn you.
I went to grad school in exercise science the later half of the 80’s and have been in the field ever since. We studied a slew of disciplines including biochemistry, neurology, physiology and steroids. This was around the time when preliminary drafts of the legislation now known as the “Anabolic Steroid Control Act of 1990” were being discussed and debated. Steroids were a hot topic in academia back then.
Herschel Walker claims to have done thousands of push-ups and thousands of sit-ups per day, every day. Regardless of great genetics, dedication, drive, mental focus, training style, etc; Herschel Walker used significant resources at the cellular level each day to accomplish his daily routine. The chemical reactions necessary to replace those resources and effect “gains” in skeletal muscle simply require a certain amount of time to complete, which is far greater than overnight. When this process, often called recovery or anabolism, is interrupted with more exercise the next day, cellular resources are not replenished and gains are minimal at best. The best natural athletes may have a small advantage when it comes to rates of these required chemical reactions but all humans operate using the exact same chemical mechanisms with small variations in these rates when natural. When an athlete adds exogenous steroids to their daily regimen, the rates of these chemical reactions skyrocket; including those associated with “gains” like transcription and translation which are components of protein synthesis. The brain is essentially duped into allowing the extra metabolic risk associated with maintaining significantly greater muscle mass that greatly exceeds the maximum genetic potential of a natural. No food or supplements come close to exogenous steroids for stimulating increases in muscle mass.
Herschel Walker is more developed than the strongest and biggest men on earth before exogenous steroids were available for human consumption. Many made their living on their feats of strength, which were incredible even by today’s standards. They had world class levels of muscular development and strength at the time. These men trained as hard as anyone today utilizing various body weight protocols as well as free weights. Herschel Walker makes them look small.
Herschel Walker’s level of muscular development is not possible without the use of exogenous performance enhancing drugs. His daily routine would never allow the time required to replenish resources and grow no matter how genetically gifted he is. The scientific mechanisms in play here have been defined for decades or longer. Conjecture is meaningless. Bottom line, the author of this article is 100% correct.
@ Adam I like this post, It gives the illusion that you know what you’re talking about. You clearly don’t know how testosterone and genetics work. Some people are just genetically built to hold more muscle than others. I personally put on muscle extremely easily, My traps are probably the most notable part of my body and some would assume i’m not natural. This is one of those things where you can’t believe its real because its not happening to you, But i promise you putting on muscle quickly because of high testosterone is very real. If a tree falls in the woods does it make a sound?
Have you even tried to safely progressively overload to this amount of reps per day? How many scientific experiments have you done involving a safely progressive overloaded routine like this while testing for performance enhancing drugs? You’re literally giving us no actual information, Where are the studies? The Bulgarian method actually does work as well as greasing the groove and all of these principles are used with added weight.
I don’t believe for a second that Herschel Walker eats the same thing day in and day out, There has to be some variety otherwise he’d go insane. Logically his calories aren’t going to be the same every single day, He may even go out to breakfast or lunch with his family which also adds on calories. Is it possible that he eats clean like this most of the time? Yes i definitely believe so. It honestly depends on what soup he’s eating and how big the bowl is, How much veggies and bread is he consuming?
How do you know, ohhhhh just because you went to school. Let me tell you something, people in prison build bodies like Herschel Walker all the time without drugs. Why? because all they do is workout
Ooooh, yeah what would going to school prove? Or working in the industry ever since he graduated 20 some years ago?
Drugs are easy to get in prison, steroids included. A lot if those guys are on them, and with good reason. Their lives are at stake. They have a better reason than a silly sports record. The fact is people are stupid and will believe anything and have since the beginning.
I’ll reply to the three posts that came after mine.
Mr. “Do Your Research”
I have done the research and I provided actual scientific mechanisms related to protein synthesis and the influence of exogenous hormones on rates of manufacturing in muscle cells. You made a comment that “I clearly don’t know how testosterone and genetics works.” Anyone who has “done the research” knows that these proteins are replicated directly from segments of DNA and RNA strands, which is genetics you dope. What the hell do you think “genetics” means or how it works? There is nothing “that gives the illusion that I know what I’m talking about” in what I discussed you wise-ass. No one gives a crap about your bro-science replies.
You mentioned testosterone, which is one hormone among many that affects the rate of protein synthesis and skeletal muscle growth in humans. The biochemical mechanisms of anabolism I mentioned and the affect of performance enhancing drugs on their rates of production are the information related to a discussion of Herschel Walker’s mass and whether he is all natural. It is absolutely not necessary to conduct your own “scientific experiments” on overload and the effects of performance enhancing drugs like testosterone. These are rigorous detailed studies conducted in controlled environments by highly specialized trained scientists who know how to properly design a study in their area of expertise so it produces reliable, consistent, and valid results for the rest of us. Once complete, they usually present them to other highly trained scientists who scrutinize the hell out of every aspect. Studies that make it through that process often appear in various scientific journals for others to read, evaluate, and use. Some studies appearing in journals are better than others. The role of testosterone on skeletal muscle hypertrophy that you brought up has been defined for so long by an abundance of well designed studies that it can be found in any entry level biochemistry textbook. The National Center for Biotechnology Information, which is part of the United States National Library of Medicine, is one source among many that stores a ton of information about testosterone and its role in skeletal muscle hypertrophy. Go to their site and do a search. All entries list sources in detail.
You mentioned “genetics” as well. Perhaps you are referring to the genetic differences among and between humans in the concentration of small slow-oxidative muscle fibers versus large fast-glycolitic muscle fibers. Those with a greater concentration of large fast-glycolitic have the potential to develop more size. Perhaps you are referring to androgen receptor density and sensitivity, which vary among humans to a degree and are genetically determined. Those with higher concentrations and greater sensitivity have potential to carry more muscle. Possibly you are referring to the simple ratio of skeletal muscle belly length to tendon length, which is also genetically determined. Those with longer muscle bellies and shorter tendons have the potential to experience greater muscle hypertrophy. Maybe you are referring to the ratios of anabolic versus catabolic hormones that are secreted during exercise. Levels of these secretions vary somewhat among people based on genetics in addition to environmental stimuli. Those with a higher ratio of anabolic secretions versus catabolic secretions have the potential to build bore muscle. So, when it comes to your comment that I clearly don’t know how “genetics” works, precisely what are you talking about? Should you decide to reply, you better be explicit because I intend to scrutinize everything you post for the benefit of everyone here. If your information is from the likes of Muscle and Fitness magazine or marketing materials from famous gurus, I will expose it for the crap that it is.
Your sources of scientific information appear to include the Bulgarian Method with a capital “B” and “Greasing the Groove.” Exactly what the hell does the extremely low rep, brief, high weight, high intensity Bulgarian Method have to do with Herschel Walker’s unbelievably high volume, ultra high rep, lengthy bouts of exercise. The Bulgarian Method is a routine/protocol that came out of an effort, starting in the 1960’s, by the Bulgarian power lifting team to propel itself to the head of international power lifting. Intense low rep high weight resistance training will produce stimulus for growth, but if you train too often, like the Bulgarian Method calls for, you won’t continue to grow if you remain natural. Bulgarian power lifters were the biggest juicers around back then and they still are today. Read this Reuters article about them and their steroid abuse:
“Greasing the Groove” is supposed to be about training neural pathways repeatedly at sub-maximal intensity so the movements in question get easier over time and you become stronger. I believe the phrase was coined by Pavel Tsatsouline in his book “Power to the People.” He’s supposed to be a former Russian special forces instructor and a kettle bell mentor. The only part of this that makes any sense is the development of skill with respect to the movements. This is similar to what athletes do when they train a skilled movement. His books like “Power to the People” and “Bulletproof Abs” are not reliable scientific sources. I invite you to produce one well defined scientific mechanism associated with his training routine. I’m not talking about his books or reviews from people who have purchased his materials or taken his kettle bell class. I’m talking about a properly designed study conducted by anyone.
Here’s a link to a picture of Herschel Walker when he was just about 50 years old (absolutely huge and ultra lean at the same time):
This was when he was talking about returning to the NFL at 50 years old and was an active MMA professional fighter at the time. Historically, he was a stand-out NFL running back. 99.9% of the other professional football players he competed against were loading PED’s. No way could he have even survived in that environment without them, much less excel the way he did. He became a professional MMA fighter in 2009 when he was 47. The average age of a professional MMA fighter is 31. The vast majority of professional MMA fighters load PED’s. Here are a few that were caught and what they were flagged for:
Herschel Walker at 47 was not winning professional fights as a natural against those kinds of guys, no way. Had he returned to the NFL after the age of 50 like he was talking about a few years ago, he would have been the oldest player in the history of the NFL and he would have been competing with guys in their 20’s who juice. Even though some want to believe Herschel Walker is some other-worldly freak of nature, the science says no.
Lastly, produce before and after pictures of your remarkably gifted traps that look juiced but are actually natural like you said. Stories and promises from you about them are meaningless, especially if you intend to use them to prove your theories on the role of natural testosterone.
Yes, I know because I went to grad school in exercise science and studied my ass off for the reason that I loved it and wanted the knowledge. I followed that with a lengthy career in the same field.
How the hell do you know what people in prison do? How do you know they do not obtain contraband in the form of performance enhancing drugs? Do you really believe that prisoners who train naturally can get “Penitentiary Arms” like CT Fletcher says just because they’re prisoners and train all day? Are you getting this information from prisoners or former prisoners? You must be kidding.
I believe you are correct and agree with what you have said.
@Mr Adam Obviously i meant to say “in general” after the word “Genetics”, Trivial details are the only ones you’re going to win today.
“It is absolutely not necessary to conduct your own ‘scientific experiments’ on overload and the effects of performance enhancing drugs like testosterone” I never said anything about scientific experiments on the effects of performance enhancement drugs like testosterone, i said “How many scientific experiments have you done involving a safely progressive overloaded routine like this while testing for performance enhancing drugs?”. You can’t just “do a search” for a specific routine like this even on ncbi.
The Bulgarian method is an example that you can train the same body part daily with heavy loads and get great results naturally, and there definitely is a limit to how far you can progress with this weighted routine. What does this have to do with Herschel Walkers routine? If the body can naturally handle heavy weighted loads daily it makes one wonder how much body weight exercise a human could handle daily. There are people out there who have been able to do the Bulgarian method naturally and have gotten great results myself included, Have you even tried the Bulgarian method?
” ‘Greasing the Groove’ is supposed to be about training neural pathways repeatedly at sub-maximal intensity so the movements in question get easier over time and you become stronger.”, “I invite you to produce one well defined scientific mechanism associated with his training routine.” I’ll counter your statement with show me the vast amount of studies that prove you can’t train the same muscle group everyday? There just aren’t enough studies which is why i asked you to do a scientific experiment on this subject before ruling it out as a fable.
“No way could he have even survived in that environment without them, much less excel the way he did.” Speculation, “Herschel Walker at 47 was not winning professional fights as a natural against those kinds of guys, no way.” More speculation.
I do believe even though Herschel felt great he wouldn’t be able to return to the nfl because while you can keep your body healthy it still ages, also he only fought in 2 games its not like he made a huge long mma career.
“Lastly, produce before and after pictures of your remarkably gifted traps that look juiced but are actually natural like you said. Stories and promises from you about them are meaningless, especially if you intend to use them to prove your theories on the role of natural testosterone.” Do you know how easy it is to photo shop photos? You wouldn’t believe me in the slightest even if i gave you the evidence.
“especially if you intend to use them to prove your theories on the role of natural testosterone.” All i need to do is disprove your statements, and my statements become possible.
To the author and all who agree, I could go on forever talking trash as you do, I’ll just say this, being jealous sucks . . . makes you a hater. Just keep working maybe you will get fit not fat one day. Maybe one day you can stand face to face with Walker and tell him what you think to his face. After he slaps you like the bit.. girl you are you wont care about his work out. And whoever said something about being a Christian, thanks for capitalizing the C and showing respect. Maybe your not as ignorant as you made yourself sound . . . but I doubt it.
I’ll say this about Mr Walker. Two things to glean is you do not need huge amounts of protein and .8 grams per kg of body weight is more than enough. You need more than the trickle that Herschel lied about. Sub failure, reps in the 20’s to 30’s and 2 to 3 times per day of 1 set each of pushups, a row and a squat with body weight can build muscle as much as a natty can even with body weight. Studies prove that high reps ( even over 36) build muscle as effectively as low rep heavy weight as long as they go to near muscle failure. Herschel believed in thousands of unnecessary reps throughout the day but even for possible steroid abuse it still isn’t necessary. Steroid abusers can out gain natty’s even without working out. I have my doubts Herschel uses steroids. He still looks too normal and not cartoon like. He does lie about his diet.
I downloaded a push up app 54 months ago and committed to do at least 50 push ups a day. I am now 58 and with ONLY 50 a day I look better than I did when I was 28. I look lean and strong. Consistency is the key. I do some other workouts but 50…100…500…or over 1000 like Hershel will make a major difference. 28 push ups a day is 10,000 a year.
Herschel is a freak of nature but he has multiple personality disorder and is taking meds for the rest of his life…
im sure he may do lots of pushups and stuff but hes not 220lbs ripped from a soup and salad everyday….ask any nutritionist if a 220lb genetically gifted man with 8% bodyfat can train for competitive mma while only eating a bowl of soup and salad everyday…youll get laughed at…Herschel cant help it….its not his fault he has multiple personality disorder but he does and people who suffer from it will often believe there own lies….regardless hes an amazing athlete and reformed since putting a gun to his wifes head ….but can you get big from calisthenics ? it depends how much you weigh…go to youtube and look up the 300lb marine doing chinups pushups and dips then youll understand you absolutely can but it depends on your weight or how much you add.
He doesn’t have popped out veins, etc. from what I would see in a steroid user, nor does he have the crazy 3d delts. Compare Terry Crews (who I also believe is natty) to Sylvester Stallone and you’ll see the veins I’m talking about in somebody over 50 who’s used steroids.
Also, look at those “bar starz” people physiques and imagine if somebody who has the best genetics in the world did that workout. Incoming Herschel Walker, best genetics to win all sorts of sports awards doing a bar starz type workout producing a similar physique just with more muscle packed on.
Also, OMAD gives you HGH keeps you looking young.
Your argument was basically that it sounds ridiculous so it cant be true. Provided no facts or evidence to support your argument
Yeah so calisthenics is more than push ups and sit ups.
Suggest you watch this.
